The Market at The Pinehills sells delicious cheeses from near and far and they now make fresh mozzarella in-house. Every Thursday and Friday, armed with milk, salt and rennet from Narragansett Creamery, which sources its milk from local dairy farms, Sean Marchand starts the process of making The Market’s Mozzarella.
“Sean has been making fresh mozzarella for a few years for a local restaurant and recently started making mozzarella for customers of The Market,” says cheese team leader Patrick Mussari. “This is something we have always wanted to do.” Customers can watch as mozzarella is hand stretched right before their eyes and then take home a sampling of the cheese to enjoy. 6 Purchase St., Plymouth, 508-209-0000.
