Quahog Republic’s Captain’s Den Comes to Plymouth

Dishing out tasty specialties like stuffed quahogs and Monsta Lobsta rolls and a welcoming atmosphere, the newly opened Quahog Republic Captain’s Den aims to help customers enjoy the good things in life. Guests can sit by the large windows facing Main Street or cozy up to the horseshoe-shaped bar or a high-top table to watch baristas concoct signature drinks like spicy bloody mary’s made with vodka infused with sundried tomatoes, elephant garlic and roasted poblano peppers and garnished with olives and Applewood smoked bacon.

The menu at the Captain’s Den features hearty Cubano sandwiches made with slow-roasted pork and honey-glazed ham, crunchy fish ‘n’ chips coated in cornflakes and almonds, and steamed littlenecks in a spicy red sauce made with chourico and red onion and served with toasted brioche for dipping.

The new restaurant is the fourth Quahog Republic establishment in the region, with sister locations in Onset, Falmouth and New Bedford. The Quahog Republic brand was the brainchild of two friends who grew up fishing and digging for quahogs off Cape Cod. Their passion for living the good life is infused into each restaurant and will keep customers dreaming of summer even on the coldest of days.
