Pink Tulip’s Virtual “Closet”

Pink Tulip is kick-starting the summer season with colorful fashions in the windows and an all-new digital fashion platform called Retail Exchange. The Cohasset boutique is one of the first businesses to pilot the program, which is designed to expose shoppers to the latest looks and streamline the shopping experience. Shoppers create a personal profile detailing their favorite clothing styles and colors and then peruse a virtual “Lookbook” filled with images of items that are available at participating boutiques. Customers can arrange their favorite images in a virtual “closet” and group items together to create outfits. Retail Exchange provides background information about specific designers, gives shoppers the ability to ask a stylist for fashion advice and the opportunity to earn discounts. The program provides retailers with a more complete picture of each individual’s sense of style. For example, if a customer notifies the shop that they’re planning to stop by on a particular day, the staff can anticipate their needs by setting aside several outfits that might appeal to them. Now that’s service. 15 Depot Ct. Cohasset, 339-337-3663,;
