What’s better than a good murder mystery? How about being a part of the investigation? The Murder Mystery Company offers interactive murder mystery dinner theater experiences at The Sons of Italy in Quincy. Audiences enjoy a three-course meal while watching a murder mystery unfold.
“Our shows are extremely interactive,” says Tom Zelinsky, head of marketing and public relations. Guests are encouraged to walk around and question the “suspects,” so that they can discover clues they need to crack the case. “Audience members have the opportunity to play “suspects,” so you or someone in your party could end up being the killer and you wouldn’t know it until the final reveal at the end of the night,” says Zelinsky.
The current theme in Quincy is “Totally 80s, Totally Murder,” which is a 1980s murder mystery that entices many audience members to don retro 80s outfits. Other popular themes include “Crime and Pun-ishment,” a 1920s gangster/mafia experience, “Midnight at the Masquerade,” which features a masquerade ball setting and “A Dance With Death,” which centers on a 1950s sock hop.
