On a quest to make the South Shore healthier, The Green Light has opened yet another space along Station Street in downtown Hingham. Unlike the flagship store in Pembroke and location in Marshfield which sells made-to-order smoothies and juices, the new location will be more of a retail store, selling its popular, nutrient-packed juice cleanse.
For who have not yet been to one of Green Light’s locations, it is beyond just your standard juice bar—it’s more of a health oasis and a way of life. Owner and vegan Dave O’Brien and business partner Roseangela Parsons share a passion for not only juicing and keeping a healthy lifestyle, but also helping their clients achieve their own optimal health. They stand by their mission to provide smoothies and juices of the highest quality—that means 100% juice with no additional sugars, water, or ice.
In addition to selling their signature green-juice cleanse, the Hingham Green Light sells made-to-order wheatgrass and ginger shots, as well as a selection of raw foods including homemade organic and non-GMO granola, and individual-sized raw vegan snacks (think chocolate-covered coconut pieces). For those wishing to be a little more balanced or those who are just curious to learn more about the benefits of juicing, Green Light offers seminars as well as a raw foods class where guests can learn everything from how to grow their own wheatgrass and sunflower sprouts, to how to make green juices and even their own raw chocolate truffles.
