While exploring the rural beauty at Brookwood Community Farm in Canton, Hanover photographer Jack Foley discovered this quiet country lane at the foot of the Blue Hills ablaze in bright yellow foliage. “I’m always looking for images,” says Foley, who keeps a camera with him at all times so he can be ready to capture interesting scenes whenever he happens upon them. Many of his photographs have won awards and he recently served as a judge for the North River Arts Society’s 40th Annual Festival for the Arts photography exhibit as well as the Hanover Day photography show. He is known for his vibrant portraits and editorial work and also does work for local advertising agencies, hospitals and many South Shore nonprofit organizations.
