With the craft beer industry booming and local brewers producing more outstanding beers than ever before, tap rooms are becoming popular destinations. Thanks to the Plymouth-based Bay State Brew Tours, beer lovers can now enjoy an afternoon of tasting at multiple breweries around Massachusetts without searching for a designated driver.

The company offers guests a chance to travel via van to multiple local breweries where they can enjoy libations and a little beer education along the way. There are multiple tour options to choose from. Guests can hop aboard the South Shore Brew Tour and visit Black Hat Brew Works, Old Colony Brewing and 10th District Brewing; the South of the City Brew Tour to check out Barrelhouse Z, Castle Island Brewing and Widowmaker Brewing; or head down to the Cape to visit Cape Cod Beer, Barnstable Brewing, Devil’s Purse Brewing and Hog Island Brewing. And don’t forget the Plymouth Area Brew Tour, which includes Mayflower Brewing Company, Independent Fermentations, Plymouth Beer Company and Dirty Water Distillery.

Tours are offered Friday through Sunday with options for private parties and events. All tours start at Craft Beer Cellar on Main Street in Plymouth.
