Find Waldo in Cohasset & North Scituate

Where’s Waldo? In Cohasset and North Scituate, of course. The iconic children’s book character in the striped shirt and black-ringed specs is visiting 25 local businesses throughout our community this July. Find Waldo Local is a great summer vacation activity and a wonderful way to support area businesses and highlight the Shop Local movement in our neighborhoods. Buttonwood Books and Toys in Cohasset is coordinating this fun event. Anyone who wishes to participate can pick up a “Find Waldo Local in Cohasset & North Scituate” passport at any of the participating businesses, which contains the names of all the participating sites, and get their passport stamped or signed for each Waldo they spot. Collecting store stamps or signatures at twenty or more businesses will entitle diligent seekers entry into a grand-prize drawing on July 28, with the top prize being a six-volume deluxe set of Waldo books. 2017 marks the thirtieth anniversary of the Where’s Waldo? books by Martin Handford. There is no charge to participate, and the hunt lasts from July 1 to 28, ending with a finale celebration at Buttonwood on Friday July 28 at 10 a.m.
