Spring has sprung and this is the perfect time to start preparing your home garden for another bountiful year. Join the Trustees this Mother’s Day at the farm for a hands-on gardening workshop led by a local farmer, who will discuss everything from vegetable selection, to proper planting techniques, to bed prep and more. Each participant will get a hands-on experience planting seeds and transplanting seedlings to the garden while also getting expert advice. Each participant goes home with a seedling grown in the greenhouse and plenty of sage advice on having a successful growing season. Lecture and hands-on portion will both be outdoors, weather dependent. Lecture portion will be indoors in case of inclement weather. $20/$10 members/free for children.
