Earthen Building with Kiko Denzer

Earthen Building with Kiko Denzer

Join author of “Build Your Own Earth Oven”, Kiko Denzer, and learn about building with earth. Rewarding and fun, a lifetime of inspiration and possibility may emerge from getting to know one of humans’ oldest building and art materials. This two-part program, made possible by Plymouth CRAFT, will teach you the basic concepts of building a wood-fired earthen oven for pizza and bread — and even a house!

Register to join us at 5 pm for a hands-on experience as Kiko demonstrates a broad range of sculptural and technical possibilities. Get your hands muddy while getting a feel for the materials and mixes and gain the confidence to take on your first earth building project of your own!

Register at 7 pm for an indoor presentation with Kiko about the wide variety of earthen building — both work of his own and structures he has studied around the world. We’ll wrap up around 8:30 pm.

Both programs are free but space is extremely limited. Please register in advance to guarantee your spot: http://wildlandstrust.org/calendar/2017/6/13/earthen-building-with-kiko-denzer
