Known for serving stellar flatbreads and tapas and for its creative wine list, the restaurant Holanaturally attracts diners who enjoy flavorful food and drink pairings. The restaurant recently revamped the menu (new stars include a ribeye with shoestring fries and truffle butter and flatbreads topped with pulled pork and cheddar cheese), and is celebrating spring by hosting a series of special tasting events. Space is limited, so make sure to call ahead and reserve a spot. Date night has never tasted this good.
April 12: Wine Tasting and Tapas Night
Guests can sample tapas, cheeses and cured meats paired with an array of Spanish and Portuguese wines, including a few labels that are new to the menu. $35.00 per person
April 14: Cooking Class/Demo
Chef/owner Maryann Saporito Boothroyd will be holding a special cooking demonstration (hopefully the first of many) in the restaurant’s “Mudd Room.” Guests will learn how to prepare empanadas two different ways as well as Fideos, which is a Spanish toasted pasta. $50.00 per person
May 3: Seafood & Oyster Fest
If you are a rum drinker, this is the event for you. The evening’s menu will showcase Rumson’s Rums from Trinidad and an array of seafood items, like oysters, Peruvian ceviche, paella and more. (Wine or beer will be available for non-rum drinkers.) $50.00 per person
