A Piece of Nantucket

For Kellie Caldwell and her daughter, Amy (Caldwell) Fultz, Nantucket has always held a special place in their hearts. Both are avid boaters who share fond family memories of weekend getaways from their Plymouth home to the island and community events like Daffodil Days and the Christmas Stroll. Their passion for weaving inspired them last fall to make custom Nantucket bracelets to give away as Christmas presents to close friends and family. Nantucket Bracelets by Amy and Kellie Caldwell are made from rattan, exotic woods and pre-ban ivory. Customers have the option of adding accents such as their initials, whales, shells, daffodils, beach roses and hydrangeas. The self-taught mother-daughter team, who both have full-time day jobs, devote nights and weekends to weaving bracelets together. “We want to make certain that each piece is just right and ensure that each bracelet is unique to every customer,” says Kellie. “They are classic, timeless pieces that will age beautifully over time, giving way to a rich honey-colored patina like a Nantucket basket.”

Prices range from $300 to $450, depending on width (1/2 inch, 3/4 inch, and 1 inch) and end cap choice. For more information, email nantucketbracelets@gmail.com.
