A New Wine Bar on the Waterfront

The 1620 Winery and Wine Bar will soon be welcoming guests into its newly renovated space at the Village Landing Marketplace. Designed to function as both a tasting room and a wine bar, there will be comfortable seating around a large stone fireplace, high-top tables and an intimate bar area constructed with reclaimed wood beams where guests can sip delicious house-made wines.

Peek through a “looking glass” into the adjoining wine making room and you might spot winery owner and vintner Robert Mullaney at work on one of the many fruit and cold-climate grape wines that are available for purchase. The wine bar will also offer a variety of wines by the glass, promoting a collection of New England varieties as well as a select group of international labels.

To complement the wines, customers can order elaborate cheese boards featuring the best artisan meats, cheeses and breads in the region along with savory accoutrements like dried fruits, olives and jams. The small cheese boards serve two people and the large cheese boards feed four. Customers can enjoy their wine alfresco on the patio, which overlooks the Plymouth waterfront and harbor. With comfortable SUNS couches to sit on, a flickering fire pit, live music and a dynamite water view, you may never want to leave.
